Where is the Lutcher Theater Box Office located?

The Box Office is located inside the Lutcher Theater’s 1st floor lobby at 707 Main Ave, Orange, TX 77630

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets may be purchased online at any time. You may also purchase tickets by calling us at (409)886-5535 or by visiting our Box Office. We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

How do I buy a gift certificate?

You may purchase a gift certificate by calling us at (409)886-5535 or by visiting our Box Office. We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

Gift Certificates may be redeemed via phone at (409)886-5535 or by visiting our Box Office. We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

What is your refund and exchange policy?

ALL sales are final. If you are unable to use your tickets, you may call the Box Office 24 hours before the performance at (409)886-5535 for a Tax Credit. Premiere and Spotlight Season Ticket Holders, may exchange tickets for other shows.

Can someone else use my tickets?

Yes, someone can use your tickets if you are unable to attend the performance.

What do I do if I lost/haven’t received my paper tickets?

Please contact our Box Office at (409)886-5535.

What do I do if I don’t have the email to print my tickets?

Tickets can be reprinted. Please contact our Box Office at (409)886-5535.

What are the handling fees?

Handling fees help cover Lutcher’s ticketing system costs. Handling fees apply to all phone, in person, and internet purchases.

When can I pick up my Will Call tickets?

Will Call is available for pick up at the Box Office 90 minutes prior to show time.

May I donate my tickets?

You are welcome and encouraged to donate your tickets if you are unable to make a performance. Please contact the Box Office at (409)886-5535 at least 1 hour before the show starts. Once the transaction has been processed, you will receive a tax receipt in the mail for the value of your tickets.

Can I bring kids / Do kids need a ticket?

In general, all patrons, regardless of age, require a ticket to attend our performances.

I purchased tickets from a third-party vendor. Can you confirm these are valid tickets?

We cannot confirm if your tickets are valid if they were purchased from a source other than the Lutcher Theater. Always go to Lutcher.org to purchase tickets. If the ticket prices and fees seem higher than normal, you are probably on a third-party vendor’s page. Always contact our Box Office at (409)886-5535 if you are unsure.

Do you provide discounts for groups?

In a group of 10 or more, a $5 discount per ticket will be applied. The handling fee is also waived. Please contact our Box Office at (409)886-5535 to purchase group tickets.

Do you provide discounts for students?

Active Military and Student tickets are discounted $5. Please contact our Box Office at (409)886-5535 to purchase discounted tickets or purchase online and select “Active Military” or “Student Discount” at the time of checkout.

VISITING

What’s the Lutcher Theater’s address?

We are located at 707 Main Ave, Orange, Texas 77630.

Where is the parking?

Parking is FREE. The parking lot entry is on 5th Avenue. There is additional parking available on the streets around the theater and on the grassy area, west of the Lutcher. There are 23 reserved ADA accessible parking spaces available in the Lutcher Theater parking lot.

What should I wear?

There is no set dress code for attending an event at the Lutcher Theater. In most cases, the majority of our patrons are dressed in business casual attire; however, we always invite you to dress to your comfort level and come as you are.

When should I arrive?

Curtain times at the Lutcher Theater will vary according to the specific performance. Typically, lobby doors will open 90 minutes prior to the performance start time. The house usually opens for seating 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Please ask an employee or volunteer usher for any specific event details.

Are food and drinks available?

The Lutcher Theater offers a variety of sodas, water, coffee and light snacks before the show and during intermission.

*Please note that food and beverages are not allowed into the auditorium.

Is there a Lost and Found?

Lose something during your visit? Call us at (409)886-5535 and we’ll be happy to check Lost and Found for you. If you’re still at the Lutcher Theater when you realize that something is missing, you can find a team member in the lobby and ask for more information about your missing property.

Is there a Coat Room?

The Coat Room is located on 2nd Floor, free of charge, to store coats and other belongings.

Are there booster seats available for children?

There are booster seats available on the 2nd Floor.

Can I take pictures or video?

We understand that many of your visits to the Lutcher Theater may be in celebration of a special occasion and that you may want to document the event. Photos in the lobby pre-show and post-show are welcome. However, due to copyright laws and in consideration of the performers, the use of photographic or recording devices inside the theater is prohibited unless permission is given by the performing artist.

Can I bring my pet/s?

Only service animals are allowed inside.

Can I smoke, vape, or use tobacco at the Lutcher Theater?

The Lutcher Theater is a Tobacco-free property.

Can I bring a firearm to the Lutcher Theater?

The Lutcher Theater prohibits open carrying of handguns on the premises (Texas Penal Code 30.07). If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at (409)886-5535.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Where are the ADA Accessible parking spaces located?

There are 23 reserved disabled parking spaces available in the Lutcher Theater parking lot located on the east side of the theater.

*A covered circle drive is available for drop-off and pick-up at the main entrance located at 707 Main Avenue.

Where are wheelchair-accessible sidewalks?

Wheelchair-accessible sidewalks are located at the Main Avenue and parking lot entrances.

Are there wheelchairs available for use?

We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for use. Please contact staff to reserve at (409)886-5535.

Is there an elevator?

A Wheelchair-accessible elevator is available on the west side of the building for seating on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th floors.

Are there wheelchair-accessible restrooms or water fountains?

There are wheelchair-accessible modified restrooms and water fountains available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor lobbies.

Where can I get wheelchair-accessible seating?

Wheelchair and companion seating is available in 6 locations in the auditorium. Request these seats when ordering tickets. Please call us if you have any questions at (409)886-5535.

Are there accommodations for impaired hearing?

Infrared hearing sets and loops are available free of charge at the 2nd floor lobby coatroom.

Interpreters are available. Please contact the Lutcher Box Office 3 weeks prior to an event to request a sign interpreted performance.

What is a Premiere Package?

For the 2021-22 Season a Premiere Package includes the choice of 8+ shows.

*The number of required shows varies depending on our season offerings.

What are the benefits of being a Premiere Season Ticket Holder?

The benefits of being a Premiere Season Ticket Holder include:

  • First pick of performances
  • The same seats for each performance selected
  • Discounted seating options
  • Discounted handling fees
  • The ability to exchange tickets for other performances if you are not able to attend.
What is a Spotlight Package?

For the 2021-2022 Season, a Spotlight Package includes 4-7 shows.

  • Having the second pick of performances
  • Best available seating
  • Discounted seating options
  • Discounted handling fees
  • The ability to exchange tickets for other performances if you are not able to attend.

DONOR/SUPPORT

How do I become a Supporting Cast Member/donate?

You can become a Lutcher Supporting Cast Member by donating online at our Donate Page on our website, mailing a check or calling the Box Office at (409)886-5535.

If donating by mail, please send check to Lutcher Theater, along with your name, address, email, and telephone number to: Lutcher Theater, P.O. Box 2310, Orange, TX 77631. Make the check payable to Lutcher Theater and include your name, address, email, and telephone number.

Donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a letter in the mail of your tax credit receipt.
